The KB Events team was inspired by classic stories of enchanted gardens and hidden libraries as well as deep, rich hues of burgundy and eggplant. When entering the Santa Barbara Club, you cannot miss the inherent beauty and Spanish architecture that reside there - making it a dream canvas for any designer to work on. KB Events partnered with Event Vignette to bring an unexpected look of creeping vines, varied textures and unkempt blossoms spilling out of each vessel on the property. Our desire was for each floral piece to appear to be growing independently, rather than perfectly placed; creating a unique bridal headpiece rather than a more traditional bridal bouquet made the bride's attire a bit more magical. Vining garland was draped on the wrought iron chandeliers, bringing the outdoors in. Since our original inspiration came from stories of old, we wove vintage pieces into the tablescape design to help tell our story of timeless elegance in our secret garden in Santa Barbara.
