Adena & Charley’s elegant oceanside wedding focused on the personal details. Their soft palette of ivory and blush, accented by viney greens was highlighted in the floral as well as the stationary suite. The bride even created a tie clip for her groom with his name written in his beloved late mother’s handwriting, so she could be a part of their wedding day. Adena and Charley chose a quiet spot at the hotel for their first look, so they could savor the moment together. They basked in the Southern California sunshine as they walked along the seawall at Butterfly Beach. Their ceremony moved guests to tears as Adena and Charley recited personalized vows to one another to confess their love. While guests enjoyed a sunkissed ocean view, Charley paid homage to his hometown roots by serving Boulavard IPA brewed in Kansas City while Adena honored Armenian culture by gifting guests with silver pomegranate favors which signify abundance. The bride and groom also acknowledged their geeky side by incorporating The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Brothers themes into their ceremony music, played by a string quartet. They danced the night away to a perfect blend of 80s hits, Armenian dance songs and classic rock and roll. They ended the evening on a sweet note serving tiramisu wedding cake and toasting to their new marriage with a bubbly glass of Cristal.
